On this site you'll find choice images from my collection of sideshow performer photos, what some would call "freaks". Most are vintage photographs from the late 19th century, cabinet cards and carte vistas, shot by Chas. Eisenmann and his successor, Frank Wendt. Since many of the subjects were celebrities in their day, (Tom Thumb and his wife Lavinia Warren Bump, Laloo the Hindoo, I. W. Sprague et. al.) I have included a little information about them when I could find it.
