Waino and Plutano were born Hiram and Barney Davis. They began working in sideshows in 1850 eventually working for P. T. Barnum.
 
Although they stood around 40 inches tall, they had great strength and would often lift men many times their size.
 
While working for Barnum they became one of the World’s most renowned acts and over the course of their career, earned over $200,000.
 
Hiram died in 1905 and Barney followed suit in 1912.
